Become a part of naval history: Purchase needed items and have your organization's name (or your own) and insignia engraved on the official silver service of USS NEW YORK (LPD-21). You can see what you can contribute by viewing a special registry set up for the ship by Tiffany & Co.

The ship's silver service is for use when hosting guests at home ports and wherever else she carries the American flag. For more than a century, Tiffany & Co. has created custom serving pieces for use on ceremonial and diplomatic occasions on U.S. Navy ships all over the world, and is pleased to continue this longstanding tradition with USS NEW YORK.

These pieces, old and new, will be dedicated with the commissioning of USS NEW YORK in New York City on November 7, 2009.

Orders will be accepted through & beyond the commissioning date.
